A right wing friend of mine said if Romney had been President on 9/11/12, he would have responded by “levelling Libya to the ground”.

Never mind September 11 was BEFORE the election, my friend just didn’t seem to understand why taking such an approach would have been a really, REALLY bad idea. He seemed to be of the opinion that there would be virtually no backlash from such a decision whatsoever.
