I know that the pimps editors at that stupid sugar daddy site are aware of me. This advocates what it calls “the sugar lifestyle,” ie matching creepy but rich old farts up with young (and not so young) golddiggers. Personally I would rather take vows of chastity and become a monk, as long as my cell had cable so I could keep up with The Walking Dead.

To be truthful, I didn’t care, once I turned 50, whether or not (a) I was still attractive to men, and (b) whether or not I had to live my life “alone”. (a) was still in effect even though I wasn’t responsive, and (b) not alone by any means w/kids and grandkids, just not a “mate”, and probably just as well. I haven’t been married for 52 yrs and can’t say I miss it all that much.

There are plenty of us who just prefer good friends and companions of both sexes in our waning years and no need for marriage.
