Pork browned and now in the oven to cook until it falls apart.

Eyes burned again, round 2. Potent chipotles.

Having fun here with new kitchen gadgets. Today, a buttermilk bread recipe done in the Emile Henry flametop, and then waffles made in the Nordic belgian-waffle iron. Tomorrow, maybe a chicken roasted in the Romertopf, depending on when UPS gets the thing to me. The only thing I haven’t played with yet is the Cuisinart hand-blender, but I’m sure I’ll make soup at some point that will be better with a little pureeing.
