Now, y’all don’t fret over your relatives. Remember when Pres. Obama won term #2, how they went into fits of rage and despondency and shaved their heads and wept aloud in the streets about the End Times?

This is going to be so much worse. Trump is not only going to lose, he’s going to get his ridiculous ass handed to him by a woman, and a Clinton to boot. The ripple effects are going to hit Congress as seats peel off. They’re going to lose states that haven’t been in play in my 43 years on earth.

And we will give them a hug, hand them a drink, and remind them if we can survive Speaker Newt Gingrich, they too can endure.

I happen to agree…but sometimes I am hesitant to think the right outcome will really happen. Something about many of our fellow American’s scare me. They are nuts. They tend to buy into stupid fears and do the wrong thing based on those fears.

I often mention I watch the first half hour of Morning Joke (20 minutes without commercials) to see what the Republican talking points for the day will be.

Today I ended up watching almost 2 hours because I was stunned that Joke was unloading on Trump and the entire Republican party for Trump’s over-the-top rhetoric on the Orlando shooter, his connections and how Obama seems to be allowing this to happen.

They mockingly asked if Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell would announce today they are pulling their endorsement of Trump? They joked about Kabul (Afghanistan) being in Queens NY.

They talked about the AR-15 and how they are not needed and how Reagan hated them and was for gun control and he was and still is the Republican Super Hero President so why do they like the man and not the thinking?

They joked about his taking on the media by threatening to ban the Washington Post from covering his campaign and how stupid that all is and what it says.

Amazing. I doubt I watch that much again, but today there seemed to be a reason to catch it.

Damn. Maybe there will really be a split in the Grand Ol’ Party.
