I don’t know about that. If I were king of the world, I would limit magazines/clips to eight rounds in all commercial weapons. Any one who possessed a clip/magazine with a larger capacity would incur a ten year vacation in the gray bar motel. Guns don’t kill people, bullets kill people. Limit the number of bullets in a weapon and you can react to an active shooter.

My dad was born in Denver, and we used to go hunting in the high country. My first rifle (I was 14) was a Remington 700 30.06 with a pre-picatinny rail scope mount. It was a solid 800 meter gun, and I took my first elk with it when I was 15.

My dad always said “If you can’t hit it with two shots, you aren’t doing it right.”

I guess that’s how I feel about the whole gun thing. If you can’t hit it with two shots, you probably shouldn’t be allowed to have a gun.
