It might be a bit much for some — but it works for me : you can extend the life of an n95 mask by covering it with a cloth mask, and you can also sterilize it a few times without degrading it by steaming it in hydrogen peroxide. Dampen paper towel with 3% solution H202, suspend mask above dampened towel in microwave, microwave on medium for 45 to 90 seconds. Really high heat degrades the mask, so the goal here is to let the steam perfuse the mask without overheating.
