It’s hard to tell. This is where the noise machine shoots itself in the foot. Mitt’s comments sucked and this would have happened regardless of who the president is. However, just last week the outrageous outrage was Mitt saying the troops are unimportant, the week before that was probably some bogus Bain/tax avoidance outrage, before that it was something else. It all becomes a blur with each outrage more outrageous than the next. Each one quickly abandoned and forgotten for the newest outrage. The wingnuts do the same thing, piling one outrage on top of the other. I suppose one noise machine may eventually drown the other out but we;ll probably not even remember Mitt’s comments about Libya next week when he says something about pineapple on pizza.

We still want to see Mitt’s tax returns.
