I don’t think Shalit is alive, or they’d give some evidence so they can keep asking for more.

This is only one of the reasons that Israel should go back to their policy of never freeing anyone to get hostages released, and, either kill or imprison the Hamas leadership as war criminals, who do not get Geneva convention protections.
