The land and existing building only has been purchased, so far as I am aware. The demo and construction will cost a fortune and those funds have not been raised yet, according to the developer.
But you knew that, didn’t you?

Their website does mention that they have not started fundraising yet.

A week or so ago, there were several people here demanding to know where the money the mosque had socked away had come from.

Seems we’ve now switched to wondering where the money they may raise in the future might come from.
