The one I love is the MANDELBROT SET (yes its time to google that) Its one of the most fascinating little piece of maths that gets more complex the more you delve into it. So you may ask .. whats it useful for? Well it turns out that a lot of the mandelbrots features are emulated in nature and are also very useful for engineering. But its also very pretty .. awww.
