“government intervention in abortion and birth control” - government is involved already. Standards for condoms, safe sex awareness campaigns, medical standards and practice for abortions.

It’s a fantasy of the Right for there to be a Bed Room police - not of the Liberal Left.

btw - I did not mention “eugenics” in my comment, except as it was the starting point for a discussion about Revkin’s thought experiment.
