re: #2 lawhawk

Greenwald’s too busy putting the finishing touches on a book tour. /

Well, not really sarcasm. He’s got a book coming out, so he’s too busy indicating outrageous outrage over US surveillance while ignoring even more invasive and authoritarian surveillance from Russia on their own citizens, taking away speech rights from Russians of all walks of life.

The direct effect of the Russian move is to limit criticism of the government - hitting at bloggers and journalists who don’t hew the official line of RT or other Russian mouthpieces.

The law will have a chilling effect on free speech, and is it a wonder that the authoritarians in the US are salivating over this very proposition (like Fischer).

No wonder at all. I’m sure Bryan and many others would like to install many Russian-type controls in America.

And after seeing Kragar’s post #64, doesn’t that group also look like some American’s in the news? Like maybe members of the Bundy Ranch protection squad.

This stuff is getting downright crazy as well as chilling. Total morons out to take over. I sure hope the good people, the real silent majority are paying attention to all this crap. What we have is self-styled conservatives destroying the U.S. Constitution and a willing bunch of lunkhead politicians serving it up.

Edit…I see Backwoods_Sleuth beat me to associating the guys in #64 as Bundy Loons. Seems many of us see things the same way!
