Trump had Maria, and then doubled down by having an even more disastrous response to covid19. Trump’s taking all the worst failures of past administrations and applying every last bad decision with even worse ones.

The markets crashing are a reflection of that, but let’s remember where this starts - Trump failing to act responsibly and aggressively to curb the spread by testing aggressively. He refused to do the tests because he thought high numbers would look bad for him. Instead, he’s overseen an outbreak that will overwhelm our public health services.
