They do, they really do. That was largely why they loved Bernie, because he promised them the same “I’ll do what I want and Congress will obey or get out of the way” attitude if he was elected. The reality is that both extremes of the spectrum want the same thing: An American King, the only difference being what policies said king puts in place.

Because it is assumed that the dictator they elect will act entirely the way they want and expect him to, efficiently and consistently…I have had this discussion enough times with enough people to no longer bother to enter into it.
