What party does Duke belong to now?

According to his Wikipedia entry, David Duke was a Democrat at least as far back as 1975, when he ran for the Louisiana state senate. In 1988, he ran in the Democratic primary for president. Then he ran in the general election in the Independent Populist party. Then, apparently at the end of 1988, he switched his affiliation to Republican.

Duke has an official website, where you can read his thoughts on various matters, and he also posts sometimes at the neo-Nazi stormfront.org website.
