So… what you’re saying is that Clinton fired all the U.S. attorneys just to get rid of the Republican ones? Brilliant! But either way, incredibly unprovable. Unlike just firing a bunch of them specifically for being of one political party rather than another.

The nine in question were all Republicans; they were all Bush’s own appointees. He fired them for doing their jobs too well.
