I watched the series as a kid - funniest thing on tv at the time. The movie didn’t work for me either - I don’t think I managed to watch the whole thing.

I got through the whole movie on the Sci-Fi channel, but only found maybe 5-10 minutes of actual humor in it; not worth the 2 hours invested.
And Trillian was wearing too much clothing.
