I wasn’t kidding when I said I know people who do that sort of thing for real. I hope that person comes back— “vaginal algebra” is hilarious.

If I didn’t know better, I would swear it’s someone I know (offline).

I had a couple as tenants once. They were the most humorless people you could meet. One was surprised when she saw my library, and said, “I didn’t know anyone but grad students read that many books.” I stifled my comment about probable differences in the quality of our reading.
