No Racism at the Tea Party?

I recall from the tea party I attended there was one objectionable sign that stood out (and I mentioned it to the holder at the time).

That was in a crowd of about 1500. (I don’t count the Ron Paul 2008 signs as objectionable but they were out of place).

For the sake of the question that follows I’ll stipulate LGF’s crowd estimate size of 75k as given.

So my question is given a crowd of 75,000 how many unacceptable signs are sufficient to peg the crowd as racists and what is the lowest amount of unacceptable signs to conclude that the sign bearers are a small minority.

I would assume that any amount between those numbers would be considered a matter of some concern.
