That’s way cool that pi can make for a good random number generator. Just curious, is there a special class of numbers within the set of irrational numbers that would make for a ‘good’ random number generator? Need the number be transcendental? I am appreciative of your insights.
I think transcendentalism is enough, but remember, i haven’t studied this for about two dozen years. I’d have to go research it again to make sure I’m right. But irrationalism isn’t, because you could have something like this:
01001000100001000001…..
in an irrational number, but that still has a pattern that wouldn’t make it a good random number generator.
