I’m not tired of hearing about radical Islam.

I am however tired of fake stories, false alarms, obsessive concern over nonstories, barely concealed bigotry, and information being passed on to me by people who know less about radical Islam and associated topics than I do, and have no intention of learning more.

I’ve lived with the threat of terrorism my whole life. I was in college before it really occurred to me that my Christian classmates didn’t have armed police officers guarding their churches on Christmas and Easter…it was normal to see the police out front of Temple Emanu-El on Lake Street on the High Holidays.

Panicking doesn’t solve anything. Common sense and good strategy are what is called for, along with courage.

I hope this clarifies the silly Dem lib take on the matter.
