I figured it was the boob job.

It was likely both, Ioffe made her look like a ridiculous serial liar. First she claims the half-brother thing is a lie then when confronted with proof claims:

Seriously what the fuck is that? How do you “not understand” that a question about your half-brother pertains to the goddamned half-brother your father abandoned? Her answer regarding plastic surgery was equally mendacious.

Again, Melania scoffs when I ask if she had had a breast augmentation. “I didn’t make any changes,” she says. “A lot of people say I am using all the procedures for my face. I didn’t do anything. I live a healthy life, I take care of my skin and my body. I’m against Botox, I’m against injections; I think it’s damaging your face, damaging your nerves. It’s all me. I will age gracefully, as my mom does.”

I get that it’s a really shitty question and that any person should have their privacy respected enough not to have to answer inquiries regarding any procedures they may have undergone, but have the fucking integrity to say that instead of just flagrantly lying. Her husband is running for President on a platform that involves rounding up entire populations and deporting them, invading their homes and ripping them away from their children. So the least she can do is answer a few impertinent questions in a way that doesn’t make her a fucking laughingstock.
