I’m happy to talk third party, as long as the conversation includes the very real reasons why third parties face an enormous goddamn obstacle in getting off the ground in the US and supporting them usually equates to non-participation.

And the only real way to change that would be to change how we vote in the US, or severely change campaign finance law so that party membership isn’t the huge advantage that it already is.

And that would require the support of at least one of the major parties, if not both, making it a rather difficult road to hoe. I think the best chance of that would be in the wake of a splintering of the GOP and/or the Democrats.
