On my way home from the gym, I put on Fox news to hear what they were yammering about today…”voting for revenge” of course…they called in “former Governor and Fox contributor” Mark Sanford to help pile on, and whoever the dickhead hosting the show is, asked, “About this revenge comment? Have you ever heard such a thing?”

Sanford, to his credit, said, “I think this is all much ado about nothing. President Obama was responding to boos from the audience when he mentioned Mitt Romney’s name and he said, “Don’t boo, vote. Voting is the best revenge.” In context, it makes perfect sense...” and he went on for another minute or two about how at the end of campaigns people at rallies are hyped up and will boo every time they hear the opponent’s name.

The Fox host wasn’t having any of it. He tried again, “Revenge? What has Mitt Romney done to them? (suddenly it’s the Obama supporters seeking revenge) He doesn’t hold any office…he’s just a candidate…and a presidential candidate!” (let the beauty of that sink in for a sec)

Sanford repeated himself. “It’s much ado about nothing, really. Mitt Romney shouldn’t be using it as his closing message…” and then went on to talk about the economy in Republican terms…

After the commercial break, they went back to harping about Benghazi with John Bolton. Fucking idiots.
