I could be missing the mark… But I’m thinking that the point of the posters laughing at the thought of the money being repaid the government was that the “Taxpayers” would never see that money themselves… just more money for the government to turn around and spend again…

But I’ve had a few wonderful Smithwick’s and it could be the point is already understood and I’m just wasting thread space…
