What a strange, disconcerting video… triggers a whole truckload of cognitive dissonance. I have no idea what he was trying to say, but to me an optimistic song usually sung by a child juxtaposed with the violence & cynicism of the adult world means… Well, I guess I think it means that optimism & hope for many in the world—including children—is a luxury, an unattainable fantasy even.
