This is why the far-right have become a cesspool of hatred and violent tendencies, because there is absolutely no introspection whatsoever, nobody who will stand up and say “Dude, this shit is not right!” They don’t address the loonies in their ranks, they embrace them enthusiastically until they act out, then they immediately expel them and (worse) try to portray them as elements of the opposition.

It’s the sort of shit that “evil” regimes throughout history have thrived upon, the idea that there is nothing wrong with their philosophy, only in those who do not approve of it.
