Trump’s demand actually folds right into Gov. Ironside’s agenda, namely justifying abusively ridiculous voter suppression laws by looking for evidence of “fraud” in the system. This audit has nothing to do with changing the results of the election and everything to do with perpetuating the myth that there was widespread “fraud” afoot last November and the only way to ensure “election integrity” is to make it impossible for all but those that the state GQP approve of to vote.
