On of the reasons the GOP claim they were victorious on election day was because of the state of the economy. Thus far the only solution that the GOP has put forward to fixing the economy is the now proverbial extension of the Bush tax cuts. They of course are planning to hold middle class tax cuts “hostage” unless the Bush tax cuts are extended. Other than tax cuts the GOP has made it clear that they’re back to business as usual for a party that typically immerses itself on bullshit issues like NPR funding.
