Trying to watch the First Doctor serial, The Aztecs.

The pacing is really awkward for me.

Also, just a thought here, but the 1st Doctor is kind of a dick. Moreso than 12 is.

In fact, I would say that the 1st is somewhat immature.

The pacing of some of the 1st Doctor’s serials is glacial. And yes he gets more dickish as you go on. I recently watched all the existing serials from the 1st Doctor, interesting for historical perspective but otherwise kind of a tough slog, with exceptions. I remember liking The Aztecs, The Ark, The Romans, and most of the Dalek episodes. I know little about the Doctor beyond this (currently trying to watch all serials, in order).
