I was discussing this with the bartender this weekend, about how so many people avoid gin because of a bad experience.

Her analogy is that bad sex doesn’t make people give up sex, but this logic apparently doesn’t apply to gin for most people.

(Gin has been responsible for all of my worst hangovers ever, but that’s because that’s what happens when you are occasionally an idiot or your tolerance changes on you without your awareness.)

Well, to be fair, the worst sex I ever had was merely not very exciting, but it didn’t leave me vomiting and unable to get out of bed.
