Well, that’s because the pro-Brexit crowd long ago moved the goalposts from “We’ve regained ‘sovereignty’ and shrugged off the Brussels yoke!” to “It’s finally done! Let’s celebrate this shit being done with!”

Except it won’t be “over,” it’ll just be starting as the constant headache of Brexit being in limbo ends and all the Tory promises that they’re prepared to handle the consequences come crashing down.
