I think what you are seeing is a big difference between Democrats and The Left. The Left is generally anti-war. But the Democratic party wants the middle, and if Republicans start going isolationist (because the wrong guy is commander in chief) and they cede the pro-military platform to dems… then that’s more centrism and reasonable voters they have abandoned.
