Please tell me this is the Onion, or I’m missing facts, or don’t “get” something. Please.

I sometimes realize that there are people out there who are dedicated their entirely professional lives to attempting to repeal the early twentieth century.

It’s disgusting, of course, but it’s also sort of fascinating to watch.
