A fact of life in Tornado Alley is that a town or two gets wiped clean off the map every now and again. I can name 10 off the top of my head. Thankfully, with good forecasting techniques, people are able to effectively get out of the way before the twister strikes. Correct me if I’m wrong Lizards, but I think only one person died in Pilger, NE from the twister.
