Most anyone who knows anything about ecclesiastical buildings knows of the Sangrada Familia. My father told me about it when I was a teenager and for some reason it stuck with me. A mix of Art Nouveau and Gothic. It’s my favorite Catholic building because it reminds me of a sandcastle. One could build turrets and spires by dripping water-saturated sand through the fingers. Quite pretty and as yet incomplete.
