There are plenty of people that are tired of not being able to yell n****r and feel the thrill of threatening blacks. There are plenty of men who would like to yell c*nt and dyke, beat up a few gays and lesbians. They want them all back in their place. And no matter what you say, not all of that sentiment has to do with economics.

I am really beginning to suspect that Trump has mobilized a new group of voters, the slack-jawed, conspiracy loving underclass who normally don’t vote because they think “everything is rigged anyway.” Trump is their man, their champion. These are the reality tv fans, the great masses who are always there in the fringes and dingy corners of middle America, but are normally ignored. They recoil reflexively from any hint of intellect or dignity, even the minimal fig leaves we see from the likes of Cruz and Rubio.
