I remember those days.

There was restaurant just north of Fort Sill called The Plantation. It served steaks just as you mentioned, with the edges drooping off the sides of the plate. And with the side veggies on a separate plate.

*sigh*

things were different in those days. the cows were larger and were willing to die for a lot less money.
