I can’t imagine anything like this happening while GWB was President. Obama is perceived as being weak by the international bully-boys.

China messed with GWB soon after he took office, forced down one of our spy planes and held the crew for a period of time. The white house down played it and we got the crew back after a few days. Whatever the white house did it seemed to have worked because that was the last time China messed with us under Bush.
