But extend the quote and put it in context. Coulter was comparing the situation to the church Obama went to, and how guilt by association is only applied to non-lefties. She doesn’t deny the group is racist, and uses it to make her point, if you read the chapter.

Leaving guilt aside; If you associate with bad people, you end up looking bad.
