Funny thing, when I was in Japan I had no problem getting the attention of Chinese (national) women who were there (say, students.) Conservative - yes in a way they were, but in another way they weren’t.

Those who go abroad are a bit different than those who don’t. They tend to be a bit freer - else why would they leave their families, even if only for a while? But sunk in a community of them, and if they’re from a good family, not much in the way of progress is possible.
