Well that’s a good point. But it seems like the whole point of the stimulus is for the government to spend money on something, anything, right now, and then everything else is supposed to just take care of itself.

Well Hell’s bells - they ought to give it to me and I’ll really stimulate the economy! No, really I will, c’mon, gimme the money and I’ll prove it.
AND FOR EXTRA MEASURE, I’LL BE ABLE TO ACCOUNT FOR EVERY DOLLAR SPENT!
