He impressed me as someone who would actually get something constructive done, don’t share the self-centered view. You are right about the smart part, he knows quite a bit about high technology, including nanotechnology NBIC etc.

He jumped in a few years ago with Pelosi to “support” glowbull warming. He changes positions at a whim. He also has the rep. of shutting down the Guv (what’s wrong with that?) while Speaker which will dog him, as well as his being a jackass of a husband.
