We just saw how the Muslim Brotherhood acts in Egypt. You can’t negotiate with radicalist scum like that. The MB, the Salafists, and the Taliban (among others) are all cut from the same cloth. Deal with all the radicals the same way.

That would be “favoring a ‘Pinochet Approach’” in my opinion. There is little difference between what those pashas did and what Gen. Pinochet did. Both times it was decided to resort to mass slaughter to wipe out the opposition. I grant that said opposition was totalitarian, but that does not justify mass murder when more humane methods could have been used.
