So this is the GOP outreach to minorities: We’ll white-wash (pun intended) our conservative beliefs out of our flags.

The message the GOP is sending is “We don’t think the flag is a symbol of racism or slavery, BUT we’ll take it down because it’s becoming publicly impossible to defend it any longer.”
