Wow — never thought I’d get to see this.

The band that first put San Francisco on the musical map in mid ’60s, before all that flower-power stuff and before the hippies and before the Jefferson Airplane and the Grateful and all that crud:

We Five performing You Were On My Mind — live, introduced by (of all people) Fred Astaire!:

[Video]What a classic. And yet the We Five are now completely forgotten.

I have the Great Society live on vinyl……. among others.
