Taken in the context of everything else he writes it is yet another bit of garbage. And even if it were meant as humor rather than belittling a real issue, it is not funny. It is no more funny than making cripple jokes to someone in a wheel chair.

Get it through your head that we have not changed the course we are on one jot. The course we are on leads to the deaths of billions and the collapse of civilization as we know it.

i make jokes which fall flat all the time. you can be the bigger person and drive past them or you can be a dick and cry about them.
