Some people have a malfunctioning pancreas, and have to take insulin. Some people have a malfunctioning thyroid gland and have to take Synthroid. Still others have a wonky heart and have to take things like Norvasc or Procardia. There’s no social stigma attached to malfunctions in those organs, but as soon as we start talking about the brain, the social game changes. Weird, eh?

Absolutely weird.
And, I thank God every day that I live in a day and age and time and country, where the medications I need to keep me running, are available.
