Correct, but the fastest way to get them to want to is ban it. If we want government to stay out of the bedroom, as I certainly do, I also want them to stay the hell out of my menu. Stick to inspecting foods for safety, and leave adult nutrition to adults and their doctors, dietitians etc. Requiring caloric discloseure is a good thing. Makes for a better consumer and menu. Managing the menus of restaurants from state capitols is an intrusive thing. They lack the competence, and the need.

Where is frois grois banned anyways? All over the US? And was it banned because it’s nutrionally bad or because it’s an animal welfare issue? Most anti-frois grois campaigns I’ve ever come across don’t have anything to do with it’s nutritional value but because of how it’s produced….which is pretty disgusting..
