I think Alexander the Great and his band of merry men are responsible. They actually made it as far as India, spreading their European genetics all along the way.

And isn’t that set of genetics essentially steppe “Germanic” tribes that went west and then came back east so to speak. I recall reading somewhere that the Mongols and such were possibly blue-eyed and very “Aryan” before they conquered China.
(Though I’d take that now with a grain of salt since I can’t recall the source and it’s possibly old or heavily contaminated with someone’s racial theories.)
